Temperature Monitoring
The Ted Knott Chapter has installed several temperature logging devices
in the upper regions of Bronte Creek and it's tributaries. These devices
will record temperature readings throughout the summer which will be
downloaded for analysis in the fall.

The data collected from these devices will be used to monitor the ongoing health of
this ecosystem, and to identify key ground water
sources
that
create the cold water habitat found in this watershed. This data also
provides a baseline to be used for historical reference to monitor changes
resulting from development as well as stream rehabilitation projects.
